Meet Head Coach: DEVIN MELLON
Coach Mellon is a Lawson, Missouri native. He wrestled youth at North Stars, competed for Lawson High School, then collegiately at the University of Missouri. Devin graduated from the university and started coaching at Oregon State (1yr), then Mizzou (1yr), and the University of Maryland (5yrs). Devin accomplished:
Lawson High School: 4 time State finisher; 3 time state champion at 189 & 215.
University of Missouri: 3 time NCAA qualifier and MAC Champion at heavywight.
4th Place team finish at NCAA’s - Senior Year
As a university coach on staff:
NCAA 3rd place Amarveer Dhesi at Oregon State
Team PAC 12 Championship at Oregon State
NCAA Champion J’den Cox at the University of Missouri
5th place team finish at NCAAs while at Mizzou
5 Time MAC Champions at University of Missouri
Top 10 Team placement at B1G 10s at the University of Maryland.
NCAA qualifiers at all 3 Universities and B1G 10 placers at the University of Maryland.
